INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION (IBPS) has conducting the sixth phase for common test process for clerk post in Government bank in the country.
A Major Pattern change has been Introcuced in Clerks Recruitment this Time, It means Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Preliminary and Main Online Examinations.
There will be Two parts of Online Examination - Preliminary and Mains.
Duration of Preliminary test will be 60 Minutes. Candidates shortlisted in Prelims test will then later be called for Mains test to be held for 120 Minutes Duration.
Candidates who get shortlisted in Mains test will later be allotted to one of participating banks on the basis of Merit and Choices made by candidates.

IBPS has been time announced vacancies for participating banks along with the notifications. There are a total of 19243 Clerks Vacancies in 18 Participating Government sector banks. Note that Indian Bank have not reported their vacancies yet so we may expect these numbers to be around 21000 in all, which surely is a great news for all Aspirants.

Main Online Exam : 31-12-2016 and 01-01-2017
Result of Mains Online Exam : January 2017
Provisional Allotment : April 2017
Exam Pattern:
Preliminary test will be held on Nov 26 & 27, Dec 3 & 4 and will have 100 questions to be done in 60 Minutes. Composition of test will be - English Language (30), Numerical Ability (35) and Reasoning Ability (35).
Candidates who clear the Prelimnary test will later be called on 31-12-2016 and 01-01-2017 for mains Online test.
Provisional allotments to any of participating banks will later be made in April 2016 based on preferences given by candidates and their Overall performance - Prelims test and Mains test.

Application Fee :
Application Fee is Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates and Rs. 600 for all the others. Fee can only be paid Online By using Credit / Debit Cards / Net Banking.

After online application, a print out of this online application is to be kept for future use only. No need to send the application Print at this stage. Preserve the e-challan copy as well.
